In the British style of House system, every student and staff member belongs to a House, a smaller group within the wider school community. The Houses form the foundation for many aspects of school life, including competitions, leadership opportunities, and pastoral care.

House Point Collection

The House Point System recognises and rewards positive behaviour, participation, achievement, leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and contribution to school life.

Teachers may award House Points through the school’s online system. Every award should include a brief reason so that the recognition is specific and its record remains meaningful over time.

Competition Points

Individual Competitions

  • 1st Place — 2 House Points per player
  • 2nd Place — 1 House Point per player

Teachers’ House Competition

  • 1st Place — 40 House Points
  • 2nd Place — 30 House Points
  • 3rd Place — 20 House Points
  • 4th Place — 10 House Points

Cumulative Tally and Recording

A student’s individual House Points accumulate and are carried over with the student until graduation; they are not reset at the end of each term or year. The school’s online system will calculate House Point totals.

Students reaching 25, 50, 75, and 100 House Points will receive recognition or rewards within their respective sections. House totals will be announced and celebrated through whole-school assemblies.
