At The English School of Mongolia (ESM), sports and physical education are integral components of our educational philosophy. Physical Education Program

Our robust physical education program is structured to instill a lifelong passion for physical activities in our students. By incorporating regular exercise into their daily routines, we hope they carry this healthy habit into their futures. For students in Grades 9 and 10, we offer the IGCSE Physical Education course through Cambridge, providing a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Facilities

ESM is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to support our physical education program:

• Two Large Sporting Halls: These are designated for middle and sixth-form students, offering ample space for various sports activities.
• Two Gymnasiums: Specifically designed for primary students, these gymnasiums cater to the physical education needs of our younger learners.
• Fitness Room: Available for sixth-form students, this facility encourages personal fitness and well-being.

Extra-Curricular Sporting Clubs

We offer a wide range of sporting clubs that cater to students from primary through senior school. These clubs aim to provide continuous development and enjoyment, ensuring that sports are a regular part of our students’ lives. Competitive Opportunities

To challenge our students and showcase the development of their skills, we participate in various levels of competition:

• Internal Competitions: Our house tournaments foster friendly rivalry and camaraderie among the four houses within the school.
• Local Tournaments: ESM competes in the Ulaanbaatar Athletic Conference, which includes other international schools in the city.
• International Competitions: We organize trips to Russia and participate in events with Fobisia schools. Additionally, we proudly host the prestigious International ESM Cup tournament, attracting teams from around the globe.
