Our curriculum is guided by the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) and enriched by the English National Curriculum. Our approach emphasises inquiry-based learning, conceptual understanding, and the development of essential skills that support lifelong learning. Alongside this, a strong academic programme in Mongolian language enables students to develop linguistic competence, strengthen their cultural identity, and demonstrate respect for national heritage.
Through purposeful teacher collaboration, we carefully design and map our curriculum to ensure age-appropriate progression, coherence, and continuity across all grade levels. Learning outcomes are intentionally challenging and meaningful, with a strong focus on the progressive development of knowledge, skills, and understanding as students advance through the school.
Our timetable includes core inquiry subjects—Mathematics, Science, English, Programme of Inquiry (POI), and Health and Well-being—supported by specialist subjects such as Physical Education, Music, Dance, Visual Arts, and Mongolian language. ICT skills are incorporated across our lessons, from digital citizenship and responsible online communication to researching, presenting, and collaborating using a range of digital tools, supporting students’ development as competent and ethical digital learners in line with IB PYP approaches.
Each school day concludes with a range of club activities from Monday to Thursday, providing students with opportunities for enrichment, creativity, collaboration, and the pursuit of personal interests beyond the classroom.
To ensure the successful implementation of the curriculum across all grade levels, we have appointed Grade Level Coordinators who monitor planning, teaching, and learning. They work closely with teachers to maintain consistency, support best practices, and ensure that learning outcomes are effectively achieved.
