Position: PS/JS Visual arts Teacher
Location: “The English School of Mongolia” 1 st khoroo, BZD, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Are you driven by a passion for art education and a desire to work with preschool and junior school students? The English School of Mongolia (ESM) is actively seeking an ambitious and dedicated Art Teacher who is eager to inspire and collaborate with professionals in the field of art education. Our ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language and possess the enthusiasm to guide and mentor preschool and junior students through their artistic journey, including preparation for IB Art workshops.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging art lessons tailored to the needs and interests of preschool and junior school students.
- Lead and facilitate students providing guidance and support as they develop their portfolios and prepare for assessments.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative learning environment where students are encouraged to explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues and professionals in the field to enrich the art education experience and provide opportunities for student growth and development.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their artistic development.
- Support the integration of art across the curriculum to enhance interdisciplinary learning experiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or related field. Advanced degrees or specialized training in art education are welcome but not required.
- Previous experience working with preschool and junior school students is advantageous, but candidates with a strong desire to transition into this role will also be considered.
- Familiarity with the Art curriculum and experience leading students
- Demonstrated passion for art education and a commitment to fostering creativity, critical thinking, and cultural appreciation in students.
- Strong English language skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective communication with students, colleagues, and parents.
