Students’ enrolment procedure for the academic year

1. The Grade 1 students’ admission

The purpose of this procedure is to organize and structure all the relations that arise during the enrolment process of a student for the Grade 1 at ESM.

This procedure should be followed when enrolling students for the grade 1, along with the school policy and internal rules.

Applicants for the Grade 1 class must have been born between January 01 and December 31, 2019. According to the relevant decision, applicants for admission to the Grade 1 will not be asked to take any exam, but if necessary a triple interview will be organized with parents/guardians.

Application of pre-school /year groups of 3, 4, 5 year old / and the Grade 1 students applying to be enrolled to the school will take place from February 10th, 2025, 9:00 am directly at the school premises.

In the 2025-2026 academic year, three new classes and 72 students in total will be enrolled for the Grade 1.

2. Requirements for enrolling students to the Grades 2-12

Enrollment of 2-12 grade students will begin on April 15th 2024, and applicants will be required to take an English language and Maths /in English/ proficiency test. Students who will get a score equal and above the exam threshold of 80%, will be placed on a waiting list and will be admitted as vacancies become available.

3. List of documents to provide for admitted students

The Grade 1 students   

  • Registration fee: 400.000MNT (Non-refundable)
  • 2 photos 3x4
  • Copy of the birth certificate
  • Copy of the identity card of the parents/guardian

Grade 2-12 students  

  • Registration fee: 400.000MNT (Non-refundable)
  • 2 photos 3x4
  • Copy of the birth certificate/Mongolian/
  • Copy of the identity card of the parents/guardian /Mongolian/
  • Student’s green book /excluded from ESIS system/

Additional documents to provide for students coming from abroad  

  • A Copy of the student’s foreign passport with border stamp
  • A Copy of the parents/gaurdian passports/ foreign/
  • A Copy of the student’s alien registration card /foreign/
  • 2 Copy of the original transcripts of all grades for the study period, with a translation stamp. /foreign/

Pre-school students  

  • Registration fee: 400.000MNT (Non-refundable)
  • 2 photos 3x4
  • Copy of birth certificate/Mongolian/
  • Copy of the identity card of the parents/guardian /Mongolian/
  • Urine test report
  • Copy of the Child’s health record books page 22 record of scheduled vaccinations /Mongolian/

Additional documents for pre-school students coming from abroad  

  • A Copy of the child’s foreign passport with border stamp
  • A Copy of the parents/guardian passports /foreign/
  • A Copy of the child’s alien registration card /foreign/
