Message from the Head of Sixth Form

It is a privilege to lead the Sixth Form at the English School of Mongolia and to welcome you to Lawson Hill, a dedicated centre for our senior students in Grades 11 and 12. Lawson Hill represents a significant stage in the educational journey of our young people, where independence strengthens, aspirations begin to take clearer shape, and learning becomes increasingly self-directed.
At this level, students engage with a challenging and internationally recognised curriculum while developing the maturity, discipline, and critical thinking required for university study and adult life. Our role is to nurture these qualities, providing an environment that is both academically rigorous and personally supportive. We guide students through demanding coursework, help them refine their ambitions, and encourage them to participate fully in the opportunities available to them.
Lawson Hill is more than a place of study. It is a community where academic focus is balanced with leadership, service, global engagement, and personal development. Through coordinated pastoral care, specialist teaching, and a vibrant co-curricular programme, we ensure that every student feels valued, supported, and prepared for the world beyond school. It would be my pleasure to welcome you to Lawson Hill and to share the spirit of our Sixth Form community.
