In the basic version of Battlefield 4, we received 10 maps in multiplayer mode - one more than in the previous edition of the series. Below you will find a list and a brief description of each of them.
The largest version of each map, adapted to the conquest mode, will be described. It is worth remembering that all game modes can be played on all maps - only in small areas of the location.
Factory 311 (Factory 311)
A tank factory in the Russian forest. This place offers a wide range of opportunities for vehicles and infantry. Players can detonate a bomb located in the same building, so that the tall chimney collapses, slightly changing the location. This is the only map in Battlefield 4 with autumn colors.
The vehicles displayed on this map are tanks, combat vehicles, vehicles and helicopters.
Mekong Dam (Lanzan Dam)
A map based on the model of buildings next to a large dam on the Mekong River in China. The dam may be demolished, as a result of which a fragment of the map will be covered with debris. This location offers plenty of room for infantry to move, vehicles must keep an eye on the fire due to buildings and obstacles on the ground, although they also have room to maneuver.
The vehicles on this map are tanks, transport trucks, airplanes and helicopters.
The flood zone
In the center of the map is a Chinese town by the river, located in the flood zone. Fighting takes place on the streets and roofs. When players destroy the embankment, the streets flood and boats appear on the map. Then most of the infantry fighting moves to the roofs, connected by pedestrian bridges. Areas outside the city are also accessible - hills and meadows.
The vehicles on this map are tanks, reconnaissance and attack helicopters, combat vehicles and combat boats.
Golmud Railway
A huge map created for vehicle collisions. Infantry can feel safe only around the points where buildings are usually located, and some even multi-storey. One of the points is a train that moves to the base of the point management team.
The vehicles on this map are tanks, fighter jets, reconnaissance and transport helicopters, as well as armored vehicles and ATVs.
Paracel Storm
An archipelago of islands in the China Sea. A map where boat fans will feel at home. Players can shoot down a turbine from a distance, so that a broken ship leaning against it moves and plunges into one of the islands. The weather also changes during the match - a storm is approaching.
